History/Programming

The station received CRTC approval on January 25, 2011[2] and launched on September 12, 2012.

Since the creation of rock 106.1. Estevan has been blessed to hear the likes of Phil Collins, 54-40, and Kim Mitchell exclusively along with the least popular tracks from the albums of any featured artists since 1973 up to today. It all comes together for a mix that resembles a kindergartens finger painting. Monotonous reporting of local news as well as police highlights to distract the public from a lazy and over staffed police force.

Notable residents opinions

Seymore Butts: "stinks, really bad, and I would know".
