CJ HealthCare is a South Korean Medicine and Biotechnology company based in Seoul that manufactures synthetic medicines, general medicines, and Health drinks.

History

The company was first started in 1984, after CJ Group acquired Yupung Pharmaceuticals, as Pharmaceutical BU, part of CJ CheilJedang corporation.[2] In 2006, Hanil Pharmaceuticals was acquiring and merged into the company. In 2008, the company entered into a joint investment agreement with Neuralstem, Inc.. In 2014, the company was established as CJ HealthCare Corporation.
