CBM-Serango Christian Hospital located in Serango,[1] Gajapati District, Odisha, India is a participating hospital of the Council of Christian Hospitals, an autonomous body of the Canadian Baptist Mission whose Christian missions in India (in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh) were quadfurcated on linguistic basis into,

The hospital was the outcome of the missions of the Canadian Baptist Mission who set foot in 1876[1] with the arrival of The Reverend William F. Armstrong[1] and subsequently established a mission station on the hills in Serango.

Clergy Retreats

Serango being a serene location, the Canadian Baptist Ministries, the founder of the Hospital, holds periodical Clergy retreats[1] for its Priests hailing from the Utkal Baptist Mandali Sammiloni,[1][5] the Soura Baptist Association,[1][6] the Kui Baptist Association[1][7] and the Convention of Baptist Churches of Northern Circars. The Old Testament Scholar and past India Coordinator[10] of the Canadian Baptist Ministries, The Rev. G. Babu Rao,[1] CBCNC together with The Rev. Ron Harris,[1] CBM used to lead the Clergy retreats for nearly two decades during the period 1995[11]-2014.
