Budwiecie [budˈvjɛt͡ɕɛ] (German: Budweitschen)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Dubeninki, 14 km (9 mi) east of Gołdap, and 145 km (90 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The village has a population of 120.
