Brandon Chubb (born October 21, 1993) is an American football linebacker for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wake Forest and was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He is the brother of Denver Broncos defensive end Bradley Chubb.

College career

Chubb played college football for Wake Forest from 2011 to 2015.[1]

Los Angeles Rams

After going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, Chubb signed with the Los Angeles Rams on May 4, 2016.[3] On September 3, 2016, he was released by the Rams during their final roster cuts and was signed to the practice squad the following day.[4][5] On September 12, 2016, he was released by the Rams.

Detroit Lions

On October 18, 2016, Chubb was signed to the Detroit Lions' practice squad.[6] On November 28, 2016, he was released by the Lions but was re-signed two days later.[7] He was released again on December 17, 2016.[8]

San Francisco 49ers

On December 19, 2016, Chubb was signed to the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad.[9]

Detroit Lions (second stint)

On January 12, 2017, Chubb signed a reserve/future contract with the Lions.[10] On May 30, 2017, he was waived/injured by the Lions and was placed on injured reserve.[11] He was waived on May 8, 2018.[12]

Tennessee Titans

On August 7, 2018, Chubb signed with the Tennessee Titans.[13] He was waived on August 20, 2018.[14]

Indianapolis Colts

On August 27, 2018, Chubb was signed by the Indianapolis Colts.[15] He was waived on September 1, 2018.[16]

Carolina Panthers

On October 9, 2018, Chubb was signed to the Carolina Panthers' practice squad.[17]
