Production
It was announced in June 2018 that Mary J. Blige would star in the film, which was described as being a tonal blend of Get Out and End of Watch.[1] Nat Wolff was cast in July.[2] In September, Theo Rossi, Anika Noni Rose and David Zayas were cast, with filming beginning in New Orleans.[3][4][5][6]
