Boating is a mid 19th century painting by French artist Édouard Manet. Done in oil on canvas, the painting depicts a man (believed to be Manet's brother in law, Rodolphe Leenhoff)[1] and a woman boating on the River Seine at Argenteuil. The painting is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.[1]
