Bluebird of Happiness is the fifth and final studio album by American R&B singer Tamar Braxton, released on September 29, 2017, through LoganLand Records and Entertainment One.[2][3] The album has been preceded by the release of two singles—"My Man" and "Blind".
Background and release

On January 17, 2017, Braxton announced during an interview with Hollywood Today regarding her upcoming fifth studio album "this album for me is so personal and so amazing and I get to work with Rodney Jerkins".[5] On April 27, 2017, "My Man" was released as the lead single from the album.[6] The song was also introduced on an episode of Braxton Family Values which Braxton stars in.[7] On September 6, 2017, Braxton announced the title of her upcoming fifth studio album "Bluebird of Happiness" along with the cover art via her social media. The singer stated "Pre-order and official release date will be revealed before you know it".[4] On September 8, 2017, the track listing and release date for the album was revealed.[8][1] On September 14, 2017, Braxton announced that "Bluebird of Happiness" would be her final studio album.[9]
Singles
"My Man" was released as the albums lead single on April 27, 2017.[6] The song peaked at number three on the Adult R&B Songs chart,[10] number twenty-one on the Hot R&B Songs chart[11] and number nineteen on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.[12] The music video was released on June 25, 2017.[13] "Blind" was released as the albums second single on September 22, 2017. It has since peaked at number twenty-nine on the Adult R&B Songs Chart.
