Bitchū-Takahashi Station (備中高梁駅, Bitchū-Takahashi-eki) is a JR West Hakubi Line station located in Asahi-chō, Takahashi, Okayama Prefecture, Japan. The Hakubi Line extends as a single track from this station north.

History

  • 1926-06-20: Bitchū-Takahashi Station opened
  • 1987-04-01: Japanese National Railways were privatized, and Bitchū-Takahashi Station became a JR West station
  • 2007-07-03: Bitchū-Takahashi Station were equipped by the ICOCA automated ticket system

Station building and platforms

Bitchū-Takahashi Station has three platforms capable of handling four lines simultaneously, equipped by an automated ticket machine, and has an overpass footbridge connecting the side platform with the two island platforms.
