The Bishop House is a historic building facing College Avenue in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey on the campus of Rutgers University. It was built in 1852 for James Bishop. The house, using its historic name, James Bishop House, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 12, 1976 for its significance in architecture, education, industry, politics and religion.[3]
