Bharathi Vidyalaya

Bharathi Vidyalaya School is a middle school in Veppampatty, Harur, Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu. Bharathi Vidyalaya School is also known as BVS, BVHSS, Bharathi Vidyalaya.

Theerthamalai Hill Temple cleaning

A team of sixty-three students and staff members participated in an activity on 26 March 2017 to clean the Path of the THEERTHA GIRISWARAR TEMPLE, which is one of the famous religious temples in India. Lions Club, Harur hosted the cleaning event. In order to make awareness of the plastic usage (Such as PETE, PET, HDPE, PVC and other kinds of plastic) a Peace Rally was also conducted, holding banners under the various themes:

  • Cleanliness
  • Avoid Plastics
  • Corporate social responsibility
  • Making awareness of the anti-social activities made in the form of rituals

are the main objective of the event.[1]
