Beti (Urdu: بیٹی; lit: Daughter) is an upcoming Pakistani serial drama television series created by Abdullah Seja under their production house Idreams Entertainment.[1] It is written by Sophia Khurram and directed by Mohsin Mirza.[2][3] It will star Saheefa Jabbar Khattak and Fahad Mirza in lead roles. It is scheduled to air in December 2018.[4][5][6]
It focuses on the concept of equality and Women's empowerment and explores women journey as a daughter, generally depicted as the weaker in society. Fahad Mirza return to television after his last appearance in 2014 series Shanakht. It is the second television appearance of model-turned actor Saheefa Jabbar Khattak after her successful debut in Teri Meri Kahani.

In an earlier interview with The Express Tribune, Khattak said about the character she will be playing, “My character’s in-laws have a conservative mindset and are adamant on their preference of a boy over a girl. There is a sigh of relief as her husband is supportive and has a different mindset from his family.”[1]
