Baranówka [baraˈnufka] (German: Schafsberg)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Frombork, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[2] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south-east of Frombork, 11 km (7 mi) south-west of Braniewo, and 79 km (49 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.

While traditionally Prussian, with the Second Peace of Thorn in 1466 the area became part of the Kingdom of Poland until 1772; 1772-1945 Kingdom of Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).

The village has a population of 170.
