Ballston Lake is a lake that is located northeast of Burnt Hills, New York. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, northern pike, carp, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. A monster known as big Tim is rumored to live in the caves at the bottom of the lake. There is a private boat launch that can be accessed by paying fee, located on the north shore off Outlet Road.[2]
