Bakut Berumput is a small neighbourhood in Kampong Ayer, the riverine stilt settlement in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It is officially a village subdivision under Peramu, a mukim (subdistrict) of Brunei-Muara District. The postcode for Bakut Berumput is BP2326.[1][2]
Name
As a village subdivision, Bakut Berumput is officially known in Malay as Kampung Bakut Berumput (Kampung is sometimes spelt as Kampong),[1] which literally means 'Bakut Berumput Village'.
