Bakshi Ka Talab is an area situated at North side in city of Lucknow, consisting of both residential and business settlements. Bakshi Ka Talab is an organised settlement developed by Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).Bakshi Ka Talab is located on the Sitapur Delhi Highway at 26°59′0″N 80°53′0″E / 26.98333°N 80.88333°E.[1] Lucknow is connected through National Highway 24.[2] The population according to 2011 census is 10,000. The place is named after Lucknow Nawab cashier Tripuresh Chandra Bakshi, a local investor.
It has a railway station with same name and code which lies on the Aishbagh - Sitapur track and connects to major stations in Uttar Pradesh.
