General elections will be held in Bahrain on 24 November 2018.[1] The election follows a crackdown on dissent that included prohibiting members of dissolved opposition groups from running.[2] The election will be for the 40 seats in the lower house. Candidates have to apply between 17 and 21 October 2018.[1]
