Juan Ponce de León Avenue, coextensive as Route PR-25 along its entire length, is one of the main avenues in the capital city of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

It is a one-way mostly three-lane road running from Old San Juan towards Río Piedras pueblo for most of its length, three and four lanes run through the Isleta de San Juan corridor. The only section that is not multilane is in Río Piedras pueblo.

Urban landscape

Institutional, cultural and emblematic buildings predominate along the avenue and is considered as one of the main arteries in shopping errands, community participation, cultural activities and of personnel training of the city, it also constitutes an attraction for its architecture.[1]

A stretch of Ponce de León avenue has been designated as the arts district. It starts in Miramar and continues towards Hato Rey for 4 miles.
