Asya Abdullah is the co-chairwoman of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), the Kurdish political party in Rojava, Northern Syria. She has presented at numerous conferences to reach out to activists, academics and world leaders[3] to garner support for the Kurdish political project in Rojava.
