Ashish Sureshchandra Khetan is an Indian journalist turned politician.
As a Tehelka journalist, he attracted nationwide attention for The Truth: Gujarat 2002. He later established his own investigative journalism portal called Gulail.[3]
In 2014, he joined the Aam Aadmi Party.[4] He fought the 2014 general elections from New Delhi but lost to Bharatiya Janata Party's Meenakshi Lekhi by a margin of 1,62,708 votes.[5] Khetan is Vice-Chairman of Delhi Development Commission[6]
He became the Vice Chairman of the Dialogue and Development after the AAP government came to power in Delhi. [7]. In April, 2018, he resigned from the DDC to practice law. [8] In August, 2018, he quit the Aam Aadmi Party citing lack of interest in electoral politics and the desire to pursue law full-time. [9]
