Arno Pearse

Arno Schmidt Pearse (born: 1872) is a British historian who specializes in the history of the textile and cotton industry.

Biography

Pearse was born in London in 1872.

He was the secretary general of the International Federation of Master Cotton Spinners and Manufacturers Association,[1][2][3] and is well known for his research into the cotton industry. He has studied the growth of the textile industry in Asian countries particularly India and Japan.[2]
