Stewart Arnold Brown[1] (born January 28, 1942) is a former defenceman in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs,[2] New York Rangers,[2] Detroit Red Wings,[3] New York Islanders,[3] and Atlanta Flames. After one season in the World Hockey Association, Brown retired in 1975.[4][5]
In the book 100 Ranger Greats (John Wiley & Sons, 2009) by Russ Cohen, John Halligan and Adam Raider, the authors ranked Brown No. 93 on the all-time list of New York Rangers.
