Antha Mana Manchike (English: Everything is for Wellbeing Only) is a 2000 Telugu, comedy film, produced by Mahesh Rathi on Manisha Films banner[2] and directed by Veeru K.[3] Starring Rajendra Prasad, Rachana Banerjee, Asha Saini in the lead roles and music also composed by Veeru K. The film recorded as Average at box office.[4]

Plot

The film begins with Jagapathi (Rajendra Prasad) a young guy visits his friend's marriage where he falls in love with a beautiful girl Urmila (Rachana) at first sight. Urmila is greedy for money believes that money can buy anything in this world including happiness and she is a working as a lecturer in a college. Jagapathi is trying to sink her in his love, one day he sees a person met with an accident to his luck the person is Balu (M. S. Narayana) a newly appointed lecturer in Urmila's college. Jagapathi admits him in the hospital and joins in his place to acquire Urmila's love. After some time his drama comes out and he gets arrested. At that time Urmila comes to know that Jagapathi is a son of a multi-millionaire Pichiswara Rao (Chalapathi Rao), then she starts loving him, only for his riches. Since her goal is clear, she cons him into marriage lest his parents stop him. But Pichiswara Rao quickly realizes his daughter-in-law's character, and he shunts his son out of the house. Jagapathi takes up a job in a company headed by Nisha (Asha Saini) and she starts liking him. Disappointed Urmila makes all efforts to goad her husband to mend fences with his father and take control over the property. In that process, she even throws Jagapathi into heavy debts, where the quarrels arise between wife & husband. So, Urmila approaches the court for the divorce. In the court, Urmila accepts that she is money minded because of her mother's life who died out of poverty even being a daughter of a millionaire by marrying a poor man.

The judge (Nutan Prasad) doesn't approve of her claim since they are married only for five months and under the law, they can seek divorce only after living together for a year. He makes them live together in one roof for the remaining seven months under the surveillance of an Aaya Mandhara (Rama Prabha) along with Jagapathi's close friend Babji (Sudhakar) & his wife Sujikutti (Kovai Sarala) and also devises seven commandments that they should follow. Many things happen during these seven months Urmila gets her grandfather's property 1 crore through their loyal servant Tirupati (Tanikella Bharani) & his son Pasupati (Ali) on a condition that Urmila and her husband should sign of papers. So, she again tries to tame Jagapathi but he does not yield. Then she showcases Babji as her husband before Tirupati luring him with money. Now a confusion drama begins involving many characters, Abu (Brahmanandam) a thief is behind Urmila for money, Sujikutti becomes Jagapathi's sister and Nisha his wife. Pasupati tries to flirt Sujikutti. Rest of the story is a comic tale about, how Jagapathi teach a lesson to Urmila, whether she will be happy after getting Rs.1 crore and can realize her mistake?
