Anomaly is an advertising agency founded in 2004 in New York City. The agency has offices in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, London, Amsterdam, and Shanghai.[1][2]

The agency was founded by Carl Johnson, Jason Deland, Johnny Vulkan, Mike Byrne, Richard Mulder, and Justin Barocas.[3]

Clients

Anomaly's clients have included Anheuser-Busch InBev, Beats,[4] The Campbell Soup Company, Converse, Diageo, Dick's Sporting Goods, Diesel, Google, The Hershey Company, Kohl's, Major League Baseball, MINI Canada (a division of BMW),[5] New York Life Insurance, Panera Bread, and Sally Hansen.[6]

Additionally, Anomaly has holdings in companies such as hmbldt,[7] Avec Eric, EOS,[8] Mighty Jaxx[9] and The Unreasonable.[10]

Awards and recognition

Anomaly was named Advertising Age's 2017 Agency of the Year [11] and was also distinguished as a Creativity Innovator.[12]

Anomaly was #24 in a Fast Company article titled "The World's Most Innovative Companies";[13] and mentioned in Ad Age magazine (#4 in 2016 'Agency A-List' report,[14] #7 in 2015 'Agency A-List' report.[15])

Anomaly won 'Brand of the Year' at the Designer Toy Awards for the agency's Mighty Jaxx venture.[16] Anomaly has won Gold Media Effies for Converse and 'Keep a Child Alive' Foundation.[17]
