Amblychia hymenaria is a moth of the Geometridae family.[1] It is found in India, Singapore, Sundaland, Sulawesi,[2] Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia and may be in Sri Lanka.
Wingspan of female is 42 mm. Male has bipectinate antennae, and female has filiform antennae. Both sexes have brownish wings with white dots and irrorations. However, in male, the diffuse, oblique band which cross the forewing from the center of the costa to the tornal angle is off white, and it is white in female. Caterpillar is known to feeds on Cinnamomum iners.[3]
