Arshadul Qadri

Allama Arshadul Qadri (5 March 1925 – 29 April 2002) was a Sunni Islamic scholar in India associated with Barelvi movement. He founded a several institutions and organizations inside India and prominent among them are Madarsa Faizul Uloom Jamshedpur,Idara e Shariah,Patna,Jamia Madinatul Islam,Hague,Holland.Darul Uloom Amjadia in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, and Jamia Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia in Delhi.

He is known for two of his works, ''Zalzala'' and ''Zer-o-Zabar'' against the Deobandi movement and its founders. On the international level he organized a number of religious movements, such as World Islamic Mission, Dawat e Islami Also, which is an umbrella organisation for Barelvi in the United Kingdom and in Europe.[1]

Allama Zia'ul Mustafa Quadri has written a biography of Arshadul Quadri entitled Hayat-o-Khidmat (Life and works" of Huzoor Sadrush Shariah).[2]
