The Aliağa Wind Farm (Turkish: Aliağa Rüzgâr Enerji Santralı) is an onshore wind power plant located in Aliağa district of İzmir Province in western Turkey.

The wind farm consists of four fields operated by different companies. A total of 83 wind turbines have an installed output power of 193 MW generating an average annual electric energy of 481 GWh. Currently, the wind farm is the country's largest one.[1]

Technical details

  • Wind Farm Yurtdağ consists of 17 turbines of type Nordex N90/2500 each with 90 m (300 ft) rotor diameter generating 2.5 MW power. Total installed power is 42.5 MW. Operated by Innores company.[2]
  • Wind Farm 2 consists of 15 turbines of type Enercon E70/2000 each with 70 m (230 ft) rotor diameter generating 2.0 MW power. Total installed power is 30.0 MW. Operated by Doruk company.
  • Wind Farm Atçılar consists of 36 turbines of type Nordex. Total installed power is 90.0 MW. In service since April 2010, the field is operated by Yapısan company.[3]
  • Wind Farm 4 consists of 15 turbines of type Enercon. Total installed power is 30.0 MW. Operated by Doğal company.[1]
