Alexandre Etienne de Clouet

Alexandre Etienne de Clouet (June 9, 1812 – June 26, 1890), also known as Alexandre Etienne de Clouet, Sr., was an American politician who served as a Deputy from Louisiana to the Provisional Congress of the Confederate States from 1861 to 1862.

Biography

Alexandre Etienne de Clouet was born on June 9, 1812, in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. He served in both houses of the Louisiana legislature and ran for Governor in 1849. He was also a Deputy to the Provisional Congress of the Confederate States from 1861 to 1862, representing the state of Louisiana.[1]
