Alexander Search is an English language Portuguese Indie Pop band,[2] formed in Lisbon, Portugal, by Júlio Resende and Salvador Sobral[3] in late-2016.

Alexander Search is one of the many heteronyms used by Portuguese author Fernando Pessoa. In the spirit of Pessoa's pseudonyms, the members in the band all adopted pseudonyms.[4]
