Alex Sexton (born 3 December 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Gold Coast Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Early life
Sexton was born in Melbourne and spent the early part of his life in Reservoir, Victoria. His family relocated to Logan, Queensland in his early teens and he began playing junior football for the Springwood Pumas while attended Chisholm Catholic College.[1]
AFL career
He was drafted to the Gold Coast Suns in the 2011 National Draft, with pick # 88 as a Queensland Zone Selection. He made his debut in Round 8, 2012, against Western Bulldogs at Marrara Oval.[2]
