Aggi Ravva (English: Flame) is a 1981 Telugu Action film, produced by N. T. Rama Rao under the Ramakrishna Cine Studios banner[2] and directed by K. Bapayya.[3] It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Sridevi in the lead roles,[4] with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan.[5] The film is inspired by an English movie.[6]

Plot

Ramu (N. T. Rama Rao) a young and energetic guy, is the only son of I. G. Raja Shekaram (Jaggayya). His father wants to see him as a police officer, but his timid mother Meenakshi (S. Varalakshmi) does not agree with it because she is very afraid about this job. Meanwhile, Ramu falls in love with a beautiful girl Vani (Sridevi). Here Ramu makes a plan as if he is working in Vani's company and in the name of promotion, he leaves for the police training. Meanwhile, at a town called Nagarajapuram, a lot of atrocities happen, which are done by three traitors, Narasimham (Satyanarayana), Bhairavaiah (Allu Ramalingaiah) and Menaka (Kavitha), who behave like respectable citizens in the society. These people perpetrate many activities such as smuggling, gambling, prostitution, women trafficking etc. No one has the guts to question them and any police officer comes to investigate this case will not be returned alive. I. G. Raja Shekaram takes up this case very seriously. He transfers his nephew Inspector Suryam (Mohan Babu) to that area, but they keep him also in their custody by kidnapping his sister Radha (Rajyalakshmi). Finally, Raja Shekaram himself camps, but these traitors attack him and in the shootout, Raja Shekaram loses a limb. At the same time, Ramu successfully completes his police training and comes back. But seeing his father's condition, a volcano bursts in his heart. Now Ramu wants to take revenge against those criminals. He requests the Govt. to give his posting at Nagarajapuram and they accept it. Ramu takes his father's blessings and asks him not to reveal this secret to his mother because she may get frightened.

Ramu reaches Najarajapuram and directly gives warning to the three traitors. After that, Ramu catches them red-handed and presents them in the court, but they escape from the sentence by showing false proofs. On that night these people capture Ramu, torture him very badly and throw him on the road. They keep their danger flag as a symbol, that’s why no one comes forward for his rescue. Vani passing from that way takes him to hospital. After recovery, Ramu crushes them all and they put a case on him. In the court, he shows the evil deed happened to him as a proof by which the court decides him as innocent. Now Ramu understands that anger is not only the source to catch hold of these people it should also require a proper wit. He changes his attire along with Vani and in various forms of disguise he collects all the pieces of evidence against them. Narasimham comes to know regarding this, so, he kidnaps Raja Shekaram and also kills his wife. Seeing his mother's dead body Ramu falls like a thunder on them, smashes their entire kingdom and gets them arrested. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ramu and Vani.
