In Bosnia, the following grading scale applies to elementary and high school students:
| 1 | Insufficient (nedovoljan) - failing |

| 2 | Sufficient (dovoljan) |
| 3 | Good (dobar) |
| 4 | Very good (vrlo dobar) |
| 5 | Excellent (odličan) |
