Abdulrahman Al Faihan (born 24 June 1986) is a Kuwaiti sport shooter who competed in the Men's Trap Shooting competition in the 2016 Summer Olympics. He participated within the Independent Olympic Athletes team.[1]
Career
In January 2016 he won a gold medal and an Olympic quota place while competing under the International Shooting Sport Federation [ISSF] flag at the 2016 Asian Olympic Qualifying Tournament in New Delhi, India. The International Olympic Committee [IOC] had imposed a suspension on the Kuwait Olympic Committee in October 2015 as a result of legislation brought in by the Kuwaiti government that could have affected the autonomy of sporting organizations in the country.
