A. J. Manikannan

A. J. Manikannan is an Indian politician and was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidate from Thirunavalur constituency in the 1996 election.[1] He contested the seat again in the 2001 elections and came second to K. G. P. Gnanamoorthy of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.[2] There had been complaints that he had not been looking after his constituency and that he had been favouring his family's interests.[3]
