89 Virginis (89 Vir) is a star in the constellation Virgo. Its apparent magnitude is 4.959.[2] This is an evolved giant star with a stellar classification of K0 III.[3] It is a red clump star, which indicates it is generating energy through helium fusion at its core.[6]
