The 2019 South Asian Games, officially the XIII South Asian Games, is a major multi-sport event which will take place in 9–18 March 2019 in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal. Pokhara Rangasala will host the men's football while the stadium is currently under reconstruction expected to finish under 10 months with an increased capacity of 20,000.[1][2]

These Games will feature 27 sports[3] with paragliding making it debut and cricket returning after 8 years.[4] Golf and Karate were the two sports added by the hosts as their choice.[4]
