The 2019 IMSA Prototype Challenge presented by Mazda is the fourteenth season of the IMSA Lites Series and it's successors and the third season as the IMSA Prototype Challenge. The season features six races held across six weekends.
Series News
- NBC Sports Group will take over from Fox Sports as the series' official broadcaster.
- Michelin is set to become the new official tire supplier of the series, following the departure of Continental Tire at the end of 2018.

Calendar Changes
- The round at Barber Motorsports Park supporting IndyCar's Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama has been dropped and replaced by a round at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course supporting the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship's Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio.
- The rounds at Daytona International Speedway and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park have had their race lengths increased from 1 hour 45 minutes to 3 hours.
