The 2019 FBD Insurance League is an inter-county and Gaelic football competition in the province of Connacht. All five Connacht county teams participate, but no colleges' teams.
After the 2018 tournament featured a crowded schedule and several postponements due to bad weather, the 2019 tournament is a straight knockout with teams playing just 1–3 games (as opposed to 4 games in the previous year).[1]
Format
The competition is a straight knockout. Drawn games go to extra time and a possible free-taking competition.
