The Dutch pairing of Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld were the reigning champions, after beating the Welsh duo Gerwyn Price and Mark Webster 3–1 in the 2017 final, and they retained their title by defeating the Scottish pair of Peter Wright and Gary Anderson 3–1 in the final, to win the Netherlands their 4th World Cup title, equalling the record of England.[1][2]
