The 2017 Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Tournament, was the twenty ninth edition of the tournament. It determined the Northeast Conference's automatic berth into the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. St. Francis Brooklyn entered the tournament as the defending champions.

The St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers won the NEC title, besting LIU Brooklyn, 50 in the championship match. It was St. Francis Brooklyn's NEC-leading eighth title overall and fourth in the last five years.

The tournament was hosted by St. Francis Brooklyn, since they won the NEC Regular Season Championship and all matches were contested at Pier 5 in Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, NY.

Seeds

The top four teams participate in the tournament and it is hosted by the top seed which is also the NEC Regular Season Champion. The seeding is based on the program's conference record during the 2017 NEC season.
