Young Boys of Bern is a Swiss sports club based in the capital city Bern, best known for its professional football team. It is widely referred to as Young Boys, or as Young Boys Bern abroad, and is abbreviated to YB (German pronunciation: [ˈiː pε], i.e., the Y is pronounced as I). The club's colors are yellow and black.During the 2016-17 campaign they will be competing in the following competitions: Super League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Schweizer Pokal. In the 2016-17 league season, the Young Boys drew an average home attendance of 18,073. [2]
