1998–99 United States network television schedule (weekday)
All the 5 Commercial Networks airs the Daytime Monday–Friday Schedules for each calendar season beginning in September 1998. All Times are in Eastern; affiliate schedules may differ.
Talk shows are highlighted in yellow, local programming is white, reruns of prime-time programming are orange, game shows are pink, soap operas are chartreuse, news programs are gold and all others are light blue. New series are highlighted in bold.

- + On September 6, Leeza aired its final episode on NBC; the program moved to syndication beginning with its September 13 episode. NBC returned the 11:00 AM hour to its affiliates on September 7, and Later Today, an extension of The Today Show, premiered on the same day, choosing it to program in the 9:00 AM hour in which it took back from its affiliates.
- * The first hour of Fox Kids was returned to Fox's affiliates in the fall of 1999. Some Fox affiliates aired that hour of the block in the afternoon in order to air morning newscasts or other syndicated programming.
