The 1967 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan in the 1967 Big Ten Conference football season. In its ninth year under head coach Bump Elliott, Michigan compiled a 4–6 record (3–4 against conference opponents), tied for fifth place in the Big Ten, and were outscored by opponents by a combined total of 179 to 144.[1]
Center Joe Dayton was the team captain, and right halfback Ron Johnson received the team's most valuable player award.[2] Dayton and Johnson both received first-team honors on the 1967 All-Big Ten Conference football team, as did linebacker Tom Stincic.[3][4]
The team's statistical leaders included quarterback Dennis Brown with 928 passing yards, Ron Johnson with 1,005 rushing yards and 42 points scored, Jim Berline with 624 receiving yards.[5]
