Świerkocin [ɕfjɛrˈkɔt͡ɕin] (German: Schwirgstein) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Olsztynek, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Olsztynek and 25 km (16 mi) south of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
