Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (odɣur-, “to wake (tr.)”), Karakhanid [script needed] (oδɣur-, “to wake (tr.)”), Khakas усхурарға (usxurarğa, “to wake (tr.)”), Turkish uyar- (“to warn, alert”).
