바보

Korean

Etymology

Of native Korean origin. The original etymology originated from the word "밥보 (bapbo)," which means eating a lot of rice(food), and the origin of the meaning fool comes from the fact that people with intellectual disabilities only eat. This word was born by removing the ㅂ 받침 from '밥+보'.
