草臥れる (intransitive, ichidan conjugation, hiragana くたびれる, rōmaji kutabireru)

  1. To be exhausted (very tired.)
    • :
       (こう) (ちょう)でも (たず)ねようかと (おも)ったが、草臥 (くたび)れたから、 (くるま) ()って宿屋 (やどや) ()れて ()けと (しゃ) () () ()けた。
      Kōchō demo tazuneyō ka to omotta ga, kutabireta kara, kuruma ni notte yadoya e tsureteike to shafu ni iitsuketa.
      I thought of visiting the principal, but being tired, ordered the rikishaman to take me to a hotel.
  2. (auxiliary) To be tired of, to have enough of. Mostly used in the form 待ちくたびれる.
