คณบดี

Thai

Etymology

From Sanskrit गणपति (gaṇapati, literally chief of a group), from गण (gaṇa, group) + पति (pati, chief; lord; master); equivalent to Thai คณ (kon, group, body; higher education faculty; etc) + บดี (bɔɔ-dii, chief; lord; master; leader; commander; etc).
