    • 7th century CE, Sunan an-Nasāʾiyy, 12:80:
      كُنْتُ أَرَى عُفْرَةَ إِبْطَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ
      kuntu ʾarā ʿufrata ʾibṭayhi ʾiḏā sajada
      I used to see the whiteness of his armpits when he prostrated.
