צהריים

Cognate with Arabic ظُهْر‎ (ẓuhr) and Aramaic טהרא‎ (ṭahrā). For use of the dual, compare ערביים \ עַרְבַּיִם‎ ('arbáyim, “twilight, dusk”). Equivalent to the dual of צוהר \ צֹהַר‎ (tsóhar). Perhaps distantly related to זוהר \ זֹהַר‎ (zóhar).
